CASE STUDY:

Wild Palace

Launching a Scandinavian Luxury Brand in the U.S.

Overview

Wild Palace, a Swedish luxury wallpaper and interiors brand, partnered with Simplified Media Agency to introduce its products to the U.S. market. With little brand recognition in North America, the objective was to build credibility quickly through strategic public relations, founder positioning, and product-focused media outreach before a large-scale retail presence was established.

The Challenge

Breaking into the competitive U.S. home furnishings market required more than announcing a launch. Wild Palace needed to establish trust with editors, designers, and consumers while introducing the brand's Scandinavian heritage and distinctive design perspective to an entirely new audience.

Our Approach

SMA developed an integrated launch strategy centered on storytelling, media relations, and founder thought leadership. By aligning product pitches with seasonal editorial opportunities and securing expert commentary, we positioned Wild Palace as an emerging luxury design brand rather than a new market entrant.

Results

  • Secured national media coverage within the first 90 days of the U.S. launch

  • Earned placements in Forbes, The Spruce, Parade, Chowhound, and leading design publications

  • Positioned the founder as an expert source through editorial interviews and quoted commentary

  • Increased awareness among U.S. designers, editors, and consumers ahead of retail expansion

  • Established a strong foundation for continued media momentum and brand growth
